Forza Horizon 6: Unlock Guide for the 1962 Lincoln Continental

Post by LinaBell(LinaBell) »

Forza Horizon 6 has taken us to some incredible roads, and if you are anything like me, one of the first things you want to do is hunt down the legendary Barn Finds hidden across the map. Among them, the 1962 Lincoln Continental is an absolute standout—a massive, slab-sided luxury icon that looks surreal tearing down dirt paths.

If you are trying to add this classic to your garage, you might have noticed that simply driving to the spot won't do anything. The game requires you to trigger the rumor first. Here is exactly how to unlock the rumor, where to find the barn, and what to expect once you restore it.

Step 1: Getting the Barn Find Rumor to Trigger
You cannot just stumble upon this barn by accident early in the game; the event won't trigger until you have done some legwork in the campaign.

Specifically, you need to reach Level 4 (the Pathfinder tier) in the Discover Japan section of your Collection Journal. If you are trying to grind out those points quickly to unlock it, focus on these activities:

Completing main story missions and regional races.

Smashing local mascots scattered around the map.

Purchasing player houses.

Once you hit that milestone, you will be rewarded with the Pink Stamp. As soon as you get it, the radio rumor will trigger automatically, and a purple search circle will pop up on your world map.

Step 2: The Exact Barn Location
With the search circle active, you will want to head up north to the Hokubu region.

The barn is hidden just south of the vibrant, colorful Shikisai-No-Oka flower fields. When you get to the central area of Hokubu near the crop fields, look closely for an unmarked dirt trail that cuts west right along the edge of the fields.

Follow this hidden path into a thick, circular grove of trees. Tucked away right inside the tree line is the old wooden barn housing the Continental.

Step 3: From the Barn to the Horizon
Once you trigger the cutscene, the Lincoln is sent back to your garage. Because it has been sitting in a barn for decades, it requires a restoration period that takes a few real-time hours. The game will give you the option to spend credits to skip the timer, but honestly, it is usually better to just go do a few races and let the mechanics finish it naturally for free.

When it is ready, here is what you are working with right out of the box:

Class: D-Class (PI 267)

Drivetrain: Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD)

While a heavy, low-slung 1960s luxury cruiser might seem like a pure highway cruiser, it rolls out with a surprisingly high 6.0 Offroad stat. Because of that, it actually makes for a hilarious and stylish dirt trail build if you tune it right.
